1. What we collect
Account information
- Email address — required, used for sign-in and service notices.
- Display name and avatar — optional.
- PayPal address — collected only when you request a withdrawal.
Activity
- Which advertisements you were shown, how much of each you watched, and whether the view completed.
- Points credited and withdrawn, as an append-only ledger.
- Clicks on advertiser destination links.
Device and network signals
This is the category most people want explained, so we will be direct about it. To pay real people rather than scripts, we need to distinguish one device from another. We collect:
- IP address, and the network it belongs to.
- Browser and operating system version, screen dimensions, timezone, and language.
- A canvas rendering hash — a short fingerprint derived from how your hardware draws a test image.
These signals are combined into a single hashed identifier. We store the hash, not the raw values, and the hash is salted — rotating the salt permanently invalidates every previously stored fingerprint. We do not use these signals for advertising, profiling, or resale. They exist to detect one person operating many accounts, and nothing else.
2. Why we collect it
- To operate the service — crediting views, maintaining balances, paying withdrawals.
- To prevent fraud — device and network signals identify account farming. Without this, advertiser payments fund bots and honest viewers earn less.
- To meet legal obligations — payment and tax records where applicable.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your identity with advertisers. Advertisers receive aggregate campaign statistics — view counts, completion rates, click totals — never individual viewer identities.
3. Automated decisions
Fraud scoring is automated. An account whose risk score crosses our threshold is flagged for human review, not automatically banned. Flagged accounts keep earning on completed views while bonuses and withdrawals are held, normally for no more than 24 hours.
You may contest the outcome of a review by contacting support, and a person will look at it.
4. Who we share data with
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- PayPal — advertiser payments and viewer payouts. PayPal handles card and account details directly; we never receive or store them.
- Google Safe Browsing — screening advertiser destination links. We submit URLs, not user data.
- Resend — transactional email.
We may also disclose data where legally compelled, or to investigate fraud against the platform.
5. Retention
- Account and ledger records — kept while your account is open.
- Payment records — retained after closure where tax or accounting law requires it.
- Fingerprint hashes — retained while the account is open and for a limited period afterwards, so a banned user cannot immediately re-register on the same device.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact support@loopviewad.com.
Deleting your account removes your profile and activity history. We retain the salted fingerprint hash and minimal payment records where we are required to, or where deletion would let a banned account immediately return. Withdraw any balance before requesting deletion — points do not survive it.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for one purpose: keeping you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site. Blocking the session cookie will prevent sign-in from working.
8. Children
The service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its data.
9. Changes and contact
We will post material changes here and update the date at the top of this page. Privacy questions go to support@loopviewad.com.
